An Introduction To Traffic Exchanges

A traffic exchange is a membership website where the members can promote their own web pages by earning or buying "credits". Credits can be earned by viewing other members' web pages - otherwise known as "surfing for credits".

To surf for credits all you need to do is to log in to the traffic exchange and hit the "Start Surfing" button. You will then be shown a member's web page and a countdown timer. How long you will have to view the page varies from traffic exchange to traffic exchange and also depends on your membership status, but typically the timer takes 10 seconds to run down. When it hits zero you will have earned a credit and will be able to view a new web page. To do that you usually have to complete a simple "icon matching" task with a click of your mouse.

The more you surf, the more credits you will earn. And with some traffic exchanges you will also stand the chance of winning bonus credits and even cash prizes.

As your credits accumulate you can allocate them to your web pages, which will then be shown to other members of the traffic exchange.

Most traffic exchanges operate a "surf ratio" policy. This simply means that you need to surf more than one page in order to generate enough credit to have your page viewed in the system. Some traffic exchanges offer a 2:1 ratio, 3:1 or a 3:2 ratio, with a 1:1 ratio reserved for members who upgrade.

Another option for traffic exchange members is simply to buy credits. Traffic exchanges often hit you with "One Time Offers" where you can get a lot of credits at discounted rates if you buy straightaway.

As well as page viewing credits, traffic exchanges also offer "banner ad" and "text ad" impressions. Banners and text ads are shown above or below pages that you view when you surf for credits. You can get these impressions at a much cheaper rate than standard page-viewing credits. On the other hand, click-through rates are typically quite low.

Typically, a traffic exchange is free to join and has several "upgrade" options where you must pay a small monthly fee to secure the benefits.

So what are the benefits of upgrading?

It could be all or any of these benefits:

1. You get several hundred credits added to your account each month.

2. Your "surf ratio" improves.

3. The countdown time decreases.

4. You get new members randomly added to your "downline".

5. You earn more in credits or commission whenever you recruit a new member for the traffic exchange.

Yes, traffic exchanges are also online affiliate businesses and when you join one you are allocated an affiliate number. If you check your member's area you will see that there is a section devoted to promoting the traffic exchange. You can go there and get banners for your website or blog, and other promotional material such as email letters and so on.

Since you will be given free credits whenever you recruit someone to the traffic exchange, it makes sense to devote some space on your website or blog to promoting the traffic exchange.

You will also be encouraged to promote the traffic exchange on other traffic exchanges. A lot of people join several traffic exchanges to gain extra exposure for their web pages, and also cross-promote their traffic exchanges in order to generate a lot of credits in the form of commission when people join traffic exchanges through their links.

When you use a traffic exchange to promote your website, here are a few common pitfalls that you will want to avoid:

1. Don't promote pages that take a long time to download.

2. Don't try to promote your main product with a long sales page. Keep your pages clean and simple with a basic message and either a sign up form for more info, or a "click here" button that will open up your main promotional page in a new browser window.

3. If you use a video promotion, don't take more than ten seconds getting to your main message.

4. Make sure you do not run out of bandwidth - it is amazing how many times you see a "bandwidth limit expired" message instead of a member's page when surfing traffic exchanges.

5. Do NOT promote XYZ traffic exchange on XYZ traffic exchange!! This sounds unbelievable, but a number of clueless people try to get traffic exchange members to join the traffic exchange that they are surfing on and are therefore already members of! Duh!

Traffic exchanges offer website owners a cheap and cheerful method of promoting their website pages and can be very effective if you know how to work them.

Thank you.

Why a Good eMail List is Vital to the Health of Your Business

If you really want your Internet business to thrive you absolutely must succeed at email marketing, and the only way to do that is with a good email list. Maintaining a good email list can provide all kinds of benefits for an Internet business.

To start with, regardless of whether you are trying to make sales, promote an affiliate website, provide content production, or just generate ad revenue, e.g., adwords campaigns and the like, you've got to have customers. With a good email marketing campaign you can give your customers a sense of real appreciation. Reinforce that you did not forget about them the moment they gave you their money. Their business mattered to you, and you want more of it. In a world where business dealings are becoming increasingly impersonal, this is a sure fire way to build a rapport with your customers that will ultimately boost your bottom line.

Not only do you need to keep track of the email addresses of your existing customers, it's essential to try to obtain the email address of any prospective customers as well. Whether it's by keeping a log of customer service emails, or setting up some kind of membership feature, you should try to get their email address. If they are interested enough to have found your website, they are interested in whatever you may have to offer. You may not be able to get them to buy your product, subscribe to your pay service, or even click an ad, but you will be able to let them know when you have any specials, or any new content for them to look at, or any new services that they may be interested in. If they did not have any interest at all in what you had to offer, you would not have their email address in the first place.

The best part about having a good email list, and using a clever email marketing campaign, is the way it can generate revenue. If you can drive Internet traffic to your website and get a steady flow of new customers, that is great. It would be even that much better if you could obtain there name and email address to add to your list.

If you want to grow your volume, and grow your business, you are going to need to make sure that you not only get new customers, but repeat customers. The longer you work at building the customer - business relationship with an email marketing campaign, the more people you will manage to pull into your customer base. As your customer base expands, so does your business, and your profits.

If your goal is to expand your Internet business until you are living comfortably, working from home and working for yourself, you absolutely must maintain a robust email list, and conduct effective email marketing campaigns.

Making of Internet Marketing Skills to Make Money Offline

The World Wide Web has become the ultimate and most convenient source of information for people all over the world, which explains why a lot of internet marketers are striving hard to earn a stable income through their online businesses. Trends of all kinds have evolved, been adopted by hundreds of online businessmen and women, and are constantly being used to make sales and break quotas for many years. But there is a new trend that enables internet marketers to actually expand their businesses and services even more, and that’s through offline internet marketing. The term sounds like an oxymoron, but it is possible and has proven to be very lucrative to many internet marketers already.

Internet marketers all over the world are now learning how to making of internet marketing skills to make money offline. They do this with the help of outsourcing services and automation in terms of advertising their businesses to offline customers. This enables them to save time and effort on the actual work with regards to the website and at the same time can appeal personally to their clients the services and benefits they are going to get through their internet marketing skills. For example, an internet marketer can set up ads about his or her business all over his or her area in order to get the potential customers’ attention. They place the website of their business, contact numbers, email addresses, and wait for the calls and emails to start coming in. They then hold meetings, rendezvous, and all kinds of get-togethers to be able to explain how the system will go, how the website will bring in the benefits and profits, and how much they are going to be spending every month.

Your clients will probably be wondering what they are going to get from the websites, which is your cue in letting them in on the possibilities that internet marketing can provide. For instance, if the website you are building is for a restaurant, customers who are interested can easily access the official website, read through the content, and if they are interested can sign up in the mailing list to be able to get updates such as events, promos, new menus, etc. Not only is traffic going to build up but sales will be booming through several well-written emails alone. This scenario is internet marketing working at its best already.

When it comes to making of internet marketing skills to make money offline, personality and communication skills are also very important. This is so because you will be dealing with clients who more or less do not have an idea of how much they will be spending for internet marketing services, how much they are going to earn from the websites to be built, and the like. By offering them a price that they cannot refuse and are very affordable as compared to the expenses on actual advertisements, you can easily get your clients hooked on to you like never before. What’s more, you don’t have to be the one working day and night in creating websites and hosting them up online since there are very trusted outsourcing companies all over the world who can do that for you. All it takes is a few hours per day monitoring the system and progress of your clients’ websites and you’ll be earning over $10,000 per month.

Make Use of Offline Method to Promote Online Business

When you hear the word “internet marketing”, you would normally assume that everything from transactions to communication, payments to refunds, and the like, all take place in the World Wide Web and nowhere else. This kind of trend has been going on for years now and to such extent that people from all over the world are actively buying and selling through internet marketing and all of its fields and categories in order to make a stable passive income online. But lately, especially with the use of outsource services and automation these days, there have been cases where people are able to make money offline but provide a particular kind of service that they would be interested in online. The offline factor points to the customers themselves, in which actual advertisements are being used to attract them to the sales page or website for more information. This idea is not only a great way to save up on costs for online services but can actually expand one’s business in both ways: offline and online.

If you’re wondering how to make use of offline method to promote online business, it’s actually very possible and is even slowly becoming the hottest internet marketing trend today. How so? Let’s look at it through an example: Because of the financial crisis plaguing the country, a lot of business owners (those who own actual establishments like restaurants and stores) are having a difficult time keeping their businesses running and are spending a lot of money oadvertisements and agency services.

They are especially aiming for a website to promote their businesses online but are hindered in finishing the transaction by the expensive charges most web designers are imposing on them. So you can just imagine how valuable you can actually be to these people if you provide them with all their needs for just a few hundred dollars a month. You just need a few important tools to make use of offline method to promote online business: knowledge on internet marketing (PPC, SEO, etc), outsource services, and good communication skills. If you’re able to pull all of these things off, you can already earn as much as $10,000 per month and not have to sweat too much on the hard work.

So what actually happens when the website is finished? The advertisements are still in place, but with the new website posted as well. Once customers see that there is a website and a few contact numbers, they would visit the website and read what the business is actually about. If interested, the customer can sign up in the mailing list and will receive email updates such as events and promos going on in the business, breaking open the opportunity of earning hundreds of dollars through a few emails alone.

It is actually a very simple process and very possible to expand and grow, but it also takes good people skills and the ability to assure clients that they are being offered a greater deal than what the advertising companies and web designers are actually offering to them.

ARTICLE SPINNER

If you are an internet marketer and still trying to get used to the trends of online businesses, most likely you’ve faced all kinds of new ideas and suggestions in forums, blogs, and other online sources related to internet marketing. And in these sources, you will notice that most professional internet marketers would discuss about different strategies and internet marketing tools that they would use to increase web traffic, conversions, and eventually actual sales of their own products online. For this article, we will be talking about one of the most interesting tools being used, especially for the content of sales pages, blogs, and websites, which are the article spinners.

If you’ve never heard of an article spinner before, then continue reading because this might be your ticket to increasing sales and bursting traffic. An article spinner is basically a writing software that rewrites and modifies the wording and structure of sentences in order to produce different and unique copies of an original article. Not only that, it is able to retain the message of the original article in all of the copies it can produce, which makes it a productive tool when trying to post several articles in different blogs and websites. Internet marketers who do not have the time and the energy to reproduce, rewrite, and post numerous articles in their blogs and websites would simply use article spinners to do the job.

It’s not only convenient but affordable as well as compared to hiring ghost writers to do the job.So why do internet marketers need to create so much content? Writing good articles and blog posts is usually the key to earning a lot of money through internet marketing. By being able to come up with wonderful content, you are discreetly yet at the same time effectively advertising your products to customers who can only read about the products being sold online. But as mentioned before, writing and rewriting can take a lot of time and effort on the marketer’s part, so they use article spinner software instead.

Another reason why they use article spinners is because submitting one original article to numerous directories can be detected by search engines like Google, surfacing the possibility of only one of your articles being linked to the entered keyword and leaving out all the rest in the next three to four pages. This lowers down your chances of gaining more traffic, and of course, more sales as well.

But take note that not all article spinner software being sold online produce well-rounded rewritten articles. There are those that do not function well or are actually fake software being sold by scammers in order to earn money out of you. Just remember that with the right tools and the right way of using this kind of software, you’ll be able to produce high quality rewrites of your own articles and have them submitted and posted in all of your websites and blogs without each one falling behind in the search result pages.

Are Sales Page Opt Ins Decreasing Your Affiliate Commission?

There are over a hundred affiliate marketing businesses running actively nowadays with people striving to earn a stable income online. One of the most popular trends is to become an affiliate of Clickbank products and to sell these to interested customers through a sales page. But of course, with such a strong competition and lack of knowledge on how to effectively sell these digital products, a lot of internet marketers tend to lose the will and the resources to continue selling as they encounter problems and issues regarding the products they sell, the links being used, and the like. For this article, the issue whether sales page opt ins are a factor of decreasing commissions will be discussed to provide insight and understanding as to how this internet marketing tool works and how one can actually benefit from it.

As we all know, the role of the affiliate is to sell the product through a sales page to customers online. The sales page would normally contain the content introducing the product, the link that will lead them back to the main website where they can purchase the product, and of course an opt in list for the customer to receive mails and updates with regards to the product. These opt ins are usually paired with freebies and bonuses that the customer can avail of, so by entering their email addresses in the opt in box they are not only signing up for the bonuses and email updates but crediting your page for commission. But the issue raised here is whether or not the affiliate still has a role in the business if the customer simply opts in without actually purchasing the product. Will that decrease one’s chances of earning commission?

The truth is affiliate marketing systems as well as Clickbank websites track the referrals of their affiliates through cookies and the IP address used, in which the former would normally be saved into the computer not less than 60 days at the most. So most likely if the customer decides to opt in to the mailing list of the vendor, the ID of the affiliate will be identified and the sales will be credited to his or her account. Though there is no assurance that the customer will buy the product, the fact that he or she found his or her way to the mailing list through the affiliate’s sales page will already indicate that the commission will still go to him or her and that he or she will still be paid months from now.

But of course, there are certain possibilities that you as the internet marketer would lose commissions if there are opt ins on the sales page. Supposing the customer decides to opt in into the mailing list but decides to check out the product a little later. If he or she erases all cookies in the PC or decides to use a different browser to buy the product, then most likely the commissions won’t go to you.
Thank you.

Tired of Management?

Tired of management breathing down your neck? Guess what, get used to it. About the only way to get out from under the fire of management is to quit and start your own thing. Seriously.

Management looks after the interest of whatever business the team is running. If you don't line up with the interest of the company, you could be on your way out. So, begin thinking now of a financial back up plan you can have in place for if you need to cut the chord.

The benefits of entrepreneurship are infinite. And it does no harm in starting a little side business as long as you don't create any conflict of interest with your current job. Unless you can afford to, it is not recommended that you jump ship right way.

Creating an online business is highly recommended. First off, you can do it from the comfort of your own home. You do not need to hire employees, train, do payroll and on and on. You can hire freelance workers from websites like http://www.elance.com or rentacoder.com. You pay by credit card and put up funds into an escrow account.

Your money is protected and the freelancer gets work, minus a small transaction fee that goes to the third party escrow service. Don't know how to do something in your business you are thinking about? Then take a look at websites like ezinearticles.com. They contain a database of thousands of articles you can begin using to educate yourself in building a business if funds are tight at the moment.

The biggest piece of advice: you will have a learning curve. It does not take a whole lot of work to experience success with a small online business, but it does take some work, especially for the new beginner. Why do you want to do this business in the first place?

What is your big motivation? The reason why you will come home from work after a 12 hour day to work on another project? Where do you see yourself 6 months and 12 months down the road? When you write your goals down on pen and paper, you are forcing your mind to focus on those goals and only those goals. This helps to eliminate distraction.

The internet offers a whole host of fun and creative ways to generate income. Don't be afraid to jump in and see what you like and what you don't like.

Thank you.

If the business opportunity that you are interested in does not provide these things, you need to find another opportunity. Here are the most important things to look for which shows if a Christian home business is legitimate or not.

Print Broker... The Perfect Home Business

Sit back, relax, and imagine what the perfect home business would be like. Imagine a home business that is always in demand, thrives in any economic condition, and requires no special skills other than the ability to read and write. Can you imagine a home business you can start on Monday for less than the cost of a tank of gas, and people are practically begging you to take their money by Friday?

Well imagine no more because starting and operating a home business as a print broker is that perfect business. Think about this. Business people need business cards, printed forms, and documents. Every business, club, group, or organization in any town, city, or county... need and use various printed forms and documents in doing business.

The cold hard fact is... businesses and business people need printed forms and documents to operate! And, they need these forms and documents over and over again. Virtually any business or business person you can think of uses at least two or more types of documents or forms that need to be printed.

As a home business print broker, you simply take orders and forward them to printers who do the work for you wholesale, and ships the work to your customers.

Operating a home business as a print broker is almost too easy, and will grow to make as much money as you desire without paying a penny for advertising or getting more customers. How can this be possible you say? In the print business, there is a term called co-op printing. It is simply one customer's non-conflicting document being printed on the back of another customer's document.

Co-op printing is how you as a print broker, easily grow your home business to make as much money as you desire... without spending one red cent on advertising. Here is a quick example how this works. John's barber shop needs to drum up some more business, and John decides to have 1,000 flyers printed up on color paper to distribute locally. Local printers would charge about $50, plus tax for the job. You offer the same service for $40... if John allows you to print your non-conflicting discount printing services flyer on back of his. John saves 25% off his printing cost, and you get 1,000 of your advertisement printed and distributed free.

John is happy, and you are happy because it is a win-win deal for both of you. However, do you know what just really happened? You were actually paid to advertise and grow your home business because your printer only charged you $25 for the order. 1,000 people and businesses will see your discount printing services... which will cause more orders to come rolling in without any effort or expense on your part. And, you can repeat this free money making home business growth technique as often as you desire by offering co-op printing services to other customers and businesses.

Many home business print brokers have mistakenly used this technique too often, and found themselves overwhelmed with orders and money. So be careful when using this technique so you do not find yourself taking in more orders and money than you can take on with ease. There is probably no other home business you can imagine that is so easy, costs so little to start, recession proof, and actually pays you to grow it.

Print Broker... The Perfect Home Business!

Thank you.

Networking Your Way to Online Success

Forums, groups, boards, and loops; they’re all synonymous for online locations facilitating online networking. Some are entirely public, where everyone and anyone can click to the URL, read the messages and if they have no interest in contributing, they can just lurk. Some require active participation and others require registration before members can participate. These online forums, groups, boards or loops are different from paid membership sites in that there is no cost to network at these websites.

Some are active, some are sleepy. Some are strictly for business related topics; some allow more OT (Off Topics) and social interaction. There are forums for every imaginable topic: Entrepreneurs, International business, Health related fields, Technology, Copywriters, Web Designers, Work at Home Moms, Programmers, Finance, Ebay, Job Seekers, Internet Marketing, Writers, Inventors and Virtual Assistants, just to barely scratch the surface of what’s out there on the World Wide Web.

Time management skills need to be paramount when participating in online forums. You can very easily get swallowed up and spend hours and hours online networking with others who have online businesses, yet you miss real opportunities to get some productive work done!

From a business standpoint, there are two areas you should consider before participating in a loop. It’s always good to have a network of like-minded business people. If you’re a web designer, hang out with other designers. You can help and support each other. If you’re just starting out, you can learn from the pros.

Don’t get stuck though, just hanging out with your own kind. You’re not going to be very successful trying to promote your design services to other designers. This is where balance comes in. Pop into the boards, check new posts of interest, ask or answer questions, then get out. Then move onto groups who need your services or products. Who is your target market and where do they hang out? Go there. Word of caution: Do not go to these forums with the sole purpose of SPAMMING the group. You’ll be tossed out on your ear quicker than you can blink if that is your sole purpose. People like to do business with people they know and trust – or at the very minimum have at least heard of.

If you’re trying to sell your curriculum to a group of home school parents and you just pop in, spew your sales rap all over the boards then expect any sort of return, you’re missing the point of online networking. It’s networking – not advertising. You need to build a rapport with your other “loopies”. Then if a need arises and they know one of their own fellow networkers has that special skill or product, guess who they’ll call first? You hope it’s YOU.

For starters check MSN, Google, Yahoo, AOL, and Ryze. Inside there are literally hundreds and thousands of groups just waiting for you. Start networking your way to success today!

Five Obstacles To Achieving Success In Internet Business

A lot have been said and written about the obstacles to achieving all round success in Internet Business but this article is to submit additional five obstacles to the ones that had already been proferred by other authors.

A. Get Rich Quickly Syndrome The major obstacle is the mad rush to get rich quickly without recourse to patience. Whatever business you find yourself requires hard work, capital and patience. No matter the promises made by an Internet venture, one still need to come on board with capital and time you can invest. But most people believe this money is there already to be collected with ease. This is wrong, Internet Business is something that needs enough time and efforts to set in motion and once it starts nobody can stop it! Rome they say was not built in a day.

B. Inadequate Experience Another obstacle is that most Internet business men and women do not have the requisite experience to successfully run an Internet business. Experience they say is the best teacher. Your ability to use a computer/laptop and browse the internet do not necessarily make you a guru in internet business. Regardless of internet business experience you may have possessed before venturing into it, you still need to do alot of research on the business and carry out extensive plan. Above all, you need to be mentored by an expert in internet business to succeed in the business.

C. Inadequate Working Materials No reasonable person goes to the farm without the needed working tools like cutlas, hoe, shovel etc to work when you get there. This is one of the obstacles to achieving success in internet business because alot of people enter into the business without the necessary tools. A would be internet business man or woman needs to equip himself or herself with a very good computer/laptop, internet connection and electricity supply. In the case of developing countries like Nigeria where the supply of electricity is epileptic, you need a good electricity generating set as a back-up in case of power failure. So these working tools are very critical to achieving success in internet business.

D. Information Overload The Internet is the cheapest source of information and because of this, people send different kind of information to your mail bordering on internet business. The volume of information sent is so much that you may become confused and frusstrated even to the point of abandoning genuine ones that would have been of help to you. The best way to get quality information that would be relevant to you is to search reputable and well tested Forums relevant to your line of business instead of going through heaps of irrelevant information.

E. Prevalence of Fraudulent Internet People The Internet is a breeding ground for Internet Fraudsters of different sizes and shapes. These set of people have succeeded in duping alot of people of their hard earned living thereby frusrating them out of internet business. The best approach to solving this problem is to stop believing everything you are told in the internet. Infact, skeptism should be your watchword. Seek expert advise from mentors on internet issues and above all run away from people that promised to make you become multi-millionaire overnight, they are fraudulent people. So as stated on the opening paragraph, alot had already been said and written about this topic and that this one is additional five obstacles to achieving success in internet business that have not been said or written before.

Thank you.

Six Reasons Why Home Business Fail

Any given day, thousands of people look to get out of the rat race and work from home. In addition, many people want to get a home-based business started so badly that they do not always make wise choices in choosing a work from home opportunity. As a result, many fail miserably. This, of course, does not need to happen. It is possible to pick a viable business opportunity. As discussed in a previous article, there are five top reasons many home-based businesses will never work. Let's discover six additional reasons why, if people are not careful, their home business could fail.

Reason#1: Most new opportunities have no way to help people make large amounts of money. Many opportunities will give great ideas for making money, but then leave people out in the cold by having them do everything on their own. There simply is not a good support system. Nobody should be a part of a business opportunity such as this.

Reason #2: Unfortunately, some home business opportunity promoters will take people's money and run. There are too many fly-by-night companies out there that will not hesitate to scam people. The problem is their promotions sound just as good as everybody else's. To avoid this, home-based business opportunity seekers need to be very skeptical about each business opportunity they are presented, examine them carefully, and then make an informed decision.

Reason #3: Some home-based business opportunities have people work long hours for little pay. People end up getting burned out, tired, frustrated, and eventually quit. Why become part of a work at home opportunity that is like a regular job?

Reason #4: Many business opportunities offer products nobody wants. Never, ever try to market anything people could care less about. Everyone who tries to do this is doomed to fail. Always remember that the market for your products or services comes first, and the product or service must offer something exciting that people want. In addition, it is best that the company that offers the product or service has a proven marketing system that automatically sells to people the exciting product or service.

Reason #5: Many home-based business opportunities force people to become salespeople. Because things are not set up right, people are forced to face rejection constantly. Avoid this type of business since most people hate to sell!

Reason #6: Most work at home opportunities pay small sums of money and no residual income. This is a recipe for disaster! If people sell low-ticket items that don't sell for very much money, it's going to be almost impossible for them to obtain financial freedom and to become rich. The Secret to a Profitable Small Business

When you set out to build a business you usually are driven by the desire to make more money than what you are making right now, because like everybody else you want to grow financially and reach that state of mind where your never have to worry about money, something the average day job might not do for you.

Now, I bet that pretty much like me, you cannot afford to risk thousands of dollars in a business venture just "to see what happens". Therefore, the best way to approach the dream of having your own business and creating a meaningful stream of income is to build a small business.

However, when I say small I do not mean a $40,000 business or even a $1,000, I mean a really small business that will be built not upon money but upon brain power, time and dedication.

You might think it is impossible to create a real business with the potential to make you a lot of money without investing a lot of it, but think again, because it is not only possible, it is a lot easier than any other of the traditional business models you might thought of in the past.

I am sure you are wondering what kind of business is small enough to start running with almost zero money and yet offer enough earning potential to make a living out of it?

The answer is quite simple: an Online Business.

When confronted with the possibility of doing business online, people usually falls into one of two categories:

1.- The ones that have not tried it; and

2.- The ones that have tried it and have failed.

The ones that have not tried it are usually skeptical because they really do not have the slightest understanding of how you can generate revenue with a website, an e-store or through the use of a trading tool.

The sort of fear of the unknown experienced by the ones that have never done business online, is similar to the fear anyone will feel before starting any kind of business: you just do not know how if you will make it or not, and if you are risking a lot of money that fear will multiply by the hundreds.

The ones that have tried it and have not managed to achieve any substantial success, or no success at all, are usually more skeptical and have a great invisible wall between them and all the opportunities that can be seized by doing business online.

The fear experienced by the ones that have tried it and have not gotten anywhere, is usually stronger and will likely keep them from trying new things. It is kind of what happens to people that have been cheated on too many times, they simply lose their faith.

The problem here is that when you allow yourself to get there, you are not losing faith in other people, you are losing faith in you.

Therefore, what you must overcome in order to start building a really small but profitable business, one that you can create online with nearly zero money and some of your time and dedication, is to lose the fear of failing, because believe me, there is no path to success that has not been paved by mistakes and failures.

I am not inviting you to be naive, because that will get you nowhere either, what I am asking you is to be curious and to fiercely pursue your goals, because one thing I have learned over the years is that the best way to learn is to try, and if one thing does not work, try again, and then again. Always ask yourself: If others can do it, why not me?

Never make the decision to quit, or what is worse, the decision not to try something because somebody else tells you to, because believe me, only you can determine whether you can succeed at something or not.

Always take into consideration that building a small business online involves risking little to no money, and some of your time and dedication, nothing more, so this is the perfect testing ground for your entrepreneurial soul.

Therefore, make informed decisions, intelligent decisions, but always try and then keep on trying, because that is the only real "secret" to successfully starting and running a small business with the potential to become your main source of income.

Why Do You Need Export Financing?

Exporting can be a good opportunity for small businesses to enter foreign markets and raise their business globally. To exploit this possibility, it is often necessary to seek Export Financing.

There are various scenarios under which Export Financing may be needed in order to cover costs.

During the initial phase there is a need for investigating foreign markets and investion which takes time and resources.

When doing marketing for their product abroad, Export Financing is needed by exporters that have to attend international trade fairs or trade missions to other countries to translate their brochures or product catalogs in order to advertise in foreign markets, or develop a website to contact potential buyers and travel.

When purchasing or making your products or services developed for export, because once it has received an order from a customer in another country or expects to receive orders the exporter will need working capital or financing to purchase machinery, equipment or property.

Cash flow insufficiency also pushes business to find sources of Export Financing because some exports can take from 3 to 6 months to pay back. Small business need working capital in order to endure this long wait.

But where can exporters find financing? A possible source for Export Financing is one the bank with which it already has an established relationship. If the bank does not have a department of international trade, it can be difficult to get financing for exports. In this case it may be necessary to establish a relationship with a larger bank. But even here, it may be that the bank is not willing to take risks with this type of financing.

If that is the case, you should look into the options provided by the U. S. Government. Export Financing can be offered in the form of loan guarantees that allow your company to obtain funding from commercial banks.

If you are interested in finding more about Export Financing from the US Government, do a little research into options offered by the Federal Agency for the Development of Small Business (SBA). Here we give you some examples on programs that can be useful for you: Working Capital Program for Export by SBA, the International Trade Loan Program, the Normal Program of Loan Guarantees for Business, SBA Export Express, The Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im Bank), The Overseas Private Investment Corporation Overseas OPIC, the Department of Agriculture, and the National Association of State Development Agencies.
